Will Smith Slaps Male Reporter on Red Carpet After He Kisses Actor’s Cheek (PHOTO and VIDEO)
One reporter got too close for comfort as far as Will Smith was concerned.
While at a premiere in Moscow, Russia to promote the latest Men In Black sequel, a reporter on the red carpet repeatedly kissed the actor, 43, on the cheek which caught him off guard. Will pushed off the man, and then backhanded him before moving on down the red carpet.
After the slap, the actor moved on to the next media outlet, explaining his actions:
“Hey! Sorry, he tried to kiss me on my mouth.”
Still a bit angry, Will said he would have “sucker punched him.” He then realized what he said, adding, “Sorry, I said that on camera. … It’s all good.”
What do you think? Did Will have the right to act the way he did, or did he go overboard by smacking the guy?
