The Daily Star has teased the Big Brother 2012 launch housemate line-up, with viewers being promised the ‘wackiest bunch of wannabes’ yet.

Among the hopefuls said to have made the cut are two glamour girls who won the Miss Scotland and Miss India competitions, a Playboy bunny, a 41-year-old cougar and a porn star.

Meanwhile, an ex-LA gangster, an Essex bouncer, and a model who doubles as a cage-fighter are also set to be ‘at the centre of the action’.

A source told the tabloid: “There’s an amazing mix of characters this year, which will make for fantastic telly. They’ll be thrown together from day one, whether they like it or not.

They continued: “Male fans are certainly in for a treat this year. Both of the beauty queens are absolutely stunning. Producers know sexy girls are bound to get viewers tuning in. And there’s a big chance of romance if you put in some gorgeous girls.

“As well as the two beauty queens, the Playboy bunny and the cougar are bound to ensure there’s plenty of flirting and probably a good dose of romance. The bath will be big enough for six housemates at once, so ­anything could happen.”

An ‘industry expert’ added: “A new series of Big Brother is still really exciting for ­millions of Brits. The formula ­always makes for gripping telly. And the line-up this year sounds pretty exciting.”

Sixteen people will enter the Big Brother house during Tuesday’s launch show,at 9.00pm on Channel 5. Viewers will then be able to vote for ‘wildcard housemate‘ to join them on Friday.
