Bikini Basketball League -- is expected to tipoff on November 2012
To all fans of the Lingerie Football League who are wondering about what they will watch when the season ends, you can stop worrying. The Bikini Basketball League is here.
The league consists of seven teams -- the Chicago Desire, the Orlando Lady Cats, the Miami Spice, the Los Angeles Ice, the Hollywood Hotties, the New York Knockouts and the Atlanta Fleet Angels.
"This is a competitive basketball league, so we are definitely looking for girls that can really play,” a Miami Spice representative told the Miami New Times this week. “It is also a bikini league in which the girls will be playing basketball in bikinis, so looking good in a bikini is a must.”
He also added that “personality, the ability to work with a team, competitiveness, people skills, endurance, drive, and dependability” are also bonus qualities for all would-be BBL players.
“They can expect to sweat their hair out and have their basketball skills tested. Dribbling, shooting, passing, running, scrimmaging, and more,” he added. “We will also have a interview process where we ask them an array of questions to see if they have the mind frame and personality that we seek.”

According to its organizers, the upcoming BBA -- also known as the Bikini Basketball League -- is expected to tipoff the first week of November 2012 and is intended “For Sexy Athletic Ladies from around the world.”
Sounds interesting? Well, in that case there’s fantastic news for you, because tryouts are underway in the aforementioned U.S. cities. For example, tryouts for the Miami Spice will be taking place this Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Miami Edison Senior High School.
However, only 10 to 15 ladies will make the cut, so make sure to pack your best matching two-piece. What will recruiters be looking for during these auditions, you ask?
