PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ Tops Justin Bieber ‘Baby’ For Biggest YouTube Video Ever
Step aside, Justin Bieber: There’s a new YouTube King.
South Korean sensation PSY’s “Gangnam Style” has become the platform’s most-watched video of all time, passing Bieber’s 2010 upload “Baby” early on Saturday.
At least for the moment.
As of this writing, the infectious dance clip has 805,055,375 official views on YouTube, while Bieber’s “Baby” is at 803,847,584 official views.
Perhaps most remarkable is that PSY achieved the feat in just four months, with “Gangnam Style” released on July 15.
“#Gangnam Style just became the most watched video @YouTube!! #History,” tweeted PSY when he set the record.
The video has already set YouTube’s record for “Most Liked” video, with a staggering 5.3 million positive votes against just 323,000 “dislikes.”
