The troublemaking teen, played by 19-year-old actress Taylor Momsen, was all but exiled from Manhattan by the elite crew after season 4 — and was sent to school in London with her brother Eric.
In reality, Momsen left the show to concentrate on her rock band, The Pretty Reckless, although rumors suggest she was actually kicked off for unreliable behavior.
The star’s rabble-rousing on the CW series often mimicked her real-life episodes. Momsen, with bleach-blond hair and dark-rimmed eyes, faced backlash after she flashed her breasts at a 2010 concert in New York City, when she was just 17.
The actress ditched her usual ripped black leather for her return as Jenny on Tuesday, appearing on set in a sleek gold dress and stilettos.

Her brother Eric, played by Connor Paolo, was by her side.
Actress Kelly Rutherford hinted at the siblings’ return on Twitter.
“My kids are all grown up!” she tweeted, with a photo of Momsen and Paolo.
Rutherford plays the on-and-off-again lover of the Humphreys’ father, Rufus.
Buzz surrounding the final “Gossip Girl” season is at an all-time high as the cast wraps up filming across the city.
Recent set photos have already suggested that a wedding — between Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) and Blair Waldorf’s (Leighton Meester) star-crossed characters - could happen in the finale.
