Eminem has pledged to match donations up to $100,000 to a Michigan-based charity that helps provide a network of support for children in need.
The rapper and his Marshall Mathers Foundation have made the challenge to fans to help his home state through the charity Wolverine Human Services. Eminem grew up in Warren and Detroit and now lives in Rochester Hills.
Fans have until 11:59 pm on Tuesday to make a qualifying donation, but there is still a long way to go. As of Monday at 9 pm the amount raised by fans had reached just $9,200.
Wolverine Human Services offers a range of programs for families, including foster care, adoption, and substance abuse treatment. The non-profit organization describes its mission as:
“Wolverine’s programs focus on adolescents suffering from the social injustices of abuse and neglect and those involved in delinquent activities. Our mission is to offer the most appropriate settings and most effective services to children, their families and their communities. Our purpose is to take part in a mutual effort, assisting those in need to overcome social and economic barriers, to capitalize on their personal strengths, and to contribute to their own healing.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William released two photos of themselves with their baby George on Monday. Officially known as His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, the infant is wrapped up in a delicate white blanket.
The Duchess of Cambridge is pictured wearing a fuchsia $79 Jolene dress by Seraphine, showing that even though she's royalty she's economically practical. Her husband also opted for a casual look with jeans and a button-down shirt with rolled-up sleeves.
Middleton's father, Michael Middleton, took the photos, one of which also features the royal couple's cocker spaniel Lupo and the Middletons' golden retriever Tilly.
The new parents have been staying at the Middleton family home in Bucklebury. "The Manor," as it is known in the village, has seven bedrooms and is located on 18 acres. They will eventually move to Kensington Palace, which is currently under renovation.

The newborn, the third in line to the throne, weighed in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces.

TMZ cited sources that she had a natural birth after having contractions late Friday evening.
Kim had planned to have a C-section but after suffering an infection had decided to take the precaution of going to the hospital a few weeks early, according to X17Online. Herdue date was reportedly July 11 - the same day as Kate Middleton.
Both mother and baby are in good health and resting, but given the early birthday, the littlest Kardashian has been placed in an incubator.No further details have been released and the couple have not given any hint at what they will name their daughter.

Pop star Jennifer Lopez is reportedly planning to get married to boyfriend Casper Smartbecause she believes he is the love of her life.The 43-year-old actress, who has previously been married to Ojani Noa, Chris Judd and Marc Anthony, has been dating the25-year-old back-up dancer for almost two years, reported OK magazine.
"She calls him 'love of my life.' She believes it, she thinks he's the one she's been searching for all these years.He may be younger, but she says he is the most secure man she has ever met. He constantly inspires her and lifts her up. "Jennifer knows a lot of people in her life don't approve of her marrying Casper, but she's stopped caring. She wants to be his wife," a source said.
Lopez's five-year-old twins, Max and Emmie - who she had with Marc - are also fans of Casper and she insists that he's a better dad than their real father because he devotes his time to the youngsters and is always there for them."Casper is devoted to her kids.
