Miss World 2013: Challenge Winners Declared, Miss Philippines Megan Young Wins Top Model

On Sept. 27, the judges of Miss World 2013 announced the winners in the Challenge event rounds. All the contestants worked extremely hard to win the various challenge events. It was tough for the judges to choose the winner as the contestants have done some really creative and pro-active work especially in the Beauty with a Purpose category. Now, let's have a look at the winners for Top Model, Multimedia, Beach Fashion, Sports, and Beauty with a Purpose.

Top Model

And the winner is ... *drum rolls*

Miss Philippines is the Top Model winner in Miss World 2013. As a matter of fact, she is one of the favourites and a strong competitor to bag the crown of Miss World 2013. Miss United States Olivia Jordan bagged the 2^nd position while Miss France Marine Lorphelin finished at the 3^rd spot. Miss Ukraine Anna Zaiachkivska and Miss Brazil Sancler Frantz finished at 4^th and 5^th position, respectively.

Multimedia

Miss India Navneet Kaur Dhillon is the winner of the prestigious Multimedia Award. To win this award, Navneet interacted with her fans, posted photos and videos and raised awareness about the rare Sumatran tigers. She has more than 1,20,000 fans on her page. Miss Thailand Kanyaphak Phokesomboon and Miss Nepal Ishani Shrestha gave her tough competition but managed to bag the 2^nd and 3^rd position, respectively. Miss Philippines Megan Young and Miss Malaysia Melinder Bhullar finished at 4^th and 5^th spot, respectively.

Beach Fashion

Gorgeous Miss Brazil Sancler Frantz is the winner of Beach Fashion Award in Miss World 2013. Miss France Marine Lorphelin bagged the 2^nd position while Miss Ghana Naa Okailey Shooter came 3^rd. Miss Jamaica Gina Hargitay came 4^th, and Miss Philippines Megan Young came 5^th.

Sports

In the sports category, Miss Netherlands Jacqueline Steenbeek bags the top prize followed by Miss Spain Elena Ibarbia Jimenez, Miss Northern Ireland Meagan Green, Miss Paraguay Coral Ruiz Reyes and Miss El Salvador Paola Ayala.

Beauty with a Purpose

Miss Nepal Ishani Shrestha supported the Project Smile and is the winner of Beauty with a Purpose Award. Miss Australia Erin Holland came 2^nd, and Miss Tanzania Brigitte Lyimo bagged the 3^rd position.
